At the kickoff meeting, I will collaborate with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to thoroughly understand the root problem. A needs analysis will take place in which we will identify the performance and skills gaps. Using this knowledge, we will design meaningful objectives directly aligned to the company's learning outcomes. A specific learning modality will also be identified.

Further collaboration with the stakeholders and SMEs will take place at this stage. Together, we will create a design document to provide an overview of the learning experience. Later on, I will design a storyboard to offer a more detailed breakdown of the content, visual design, and interactivity. At this point, I look forward to receiving feedback and making revisions as I head into the development phase!

Now it is time to develop the training utilizing an authoring tool such as Articulate Storyline or Articulate Rise. I thoroughly enjoy this part of the process because I get to unleash my creativity, and tap into my skills as an educator. I find it incredibly rewarding to see my vision come to life!  After multiple rounds of feedback and revisions, a final (gold) product is handed over and uploaded to an LMS.
